Spain decided to join the genocide case against Israel at the ICJ

GENEVA: Spain has decided to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Spanish Foreign Minister said on Thursday.

“We made this decision following the continuation of military operations in Gaza,” Jose Manual Albares said in a press conference, Anadolu Agency reported.

“We are also watching with great concern the expansion of the conflict in the region,” Albares said.

Spain made this decision not only to “bring peace back to Gaza and the Middle East,” but also because of its commitment to international law, he said.
