KUALA LUMPUR: Following a power supply outage on Tuesday evening affecting the Kelana Jaya route, Light Rail Transit (LRT) services will resume regularly on Wednesday, April 17, commencing at 6 a.m. The timetable for LRT services on this route would run with a train frequency of three minutes during peak hours and seven minutes during off-peak hours, according to a statement from Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail).

“However, some facilities such as escalators and lifts at Kelana Jaya, Taman Bahagia, and Asia Jaya LRT stations are still not operational.

“Repair works are being carried out diligently,” it said in the statement on Tuesday.

Rapid Rail further clarified that passengers requiring special assistance can contact station staff and auxiliary police officers.

At the same time, Rapid Rail apologizes to passengers for the delays and inconvenience experienced.

Earlier, three Kelana Jaya LRT stations experienced power supply disruptions due to lightning strikes.

According to Rapid KL via its Facebook page, it involved Kelana Jaya, Taman Bahagia, and Taman Jaya stations.
