KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Monday extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sultan Ibrahim on the occasion of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Official Birthday.

Representing the Unity Government, he also prayed for the health, well-being, and sovereignty of His Majesty and the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Raja Zarith Sofiah.
In a post on his Facebook page, Anwar also prayed that His Majesty remains calm and composed in leading the nation, and governs with fairness and justice.

He also wished that His Majesty holds the highest position in the nation’s constitution, in line with the role of the royal institution as the protector of Islam and a symbol of unity and well-being for all races in the country.

Anwar also expressed that he and the people will continue to pledge loyalty and obedience to the constitutional monarchy.

Cabinet Ministers took to social media to extend their congratulations on the Official Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, today.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his family prayed for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim to reign with full sovereignty, be granted long life, and be continually blessed by Allah SWT.

Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof prayed for His Majesty to remain composed on the throne, ruling with grandeur, sovereignty, and well-being, and governing justly and fairly.

“Myself and all Malaysians pray for His Majesty to be continuously blessed. Long live the King,” he said.

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil also extended his heartfelt congratulations on the Official Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim.

“Sincere respects from myself and all members of the Ministry of Communications and the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament Office. Long live the King,” he said.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, prayed for Allah SWT to grant His Majesty a long life and always be in His care and blessings.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek also prayed for Allah SWT to extend His Majesty’s life and bless his reign.

Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu prayed for Allah SWT to grant His Majesty and the Raja Permaisuri Agong long-lasting health and well-being, along with the entire royal family.

State Ministers and Chief Ministers also took to social media to extend their congratulations on the Official Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, today.

Johor Chief Minister Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sultan Ibrahim.

“Sincere respects from myself and all the people of Johor,” he said.

Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari prayed for Allah SWT to extend His Majesty’s life and reign.

“We pray to Allah SWT that His Majesty is continuously blessed with grandeur, sovereignty, and well-being on the throne of the Federal Government,” he said.

Pahang Chief Minister Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail prayed for Allah SWT to bless and protect His Majesty’s reign.

Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusof, along with the leadership of Melaka, state executives, state assembly members, government and private sector staff, and all the people of Melaka, wished a Happy Official Birthday to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim.

Congratulations and well-wishes to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong were also shared by Kedah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Perlis Chief Minister Mohd Shukri Ramli, and Kelantan Chief Minister Datuk Nassuruddin Daud.

“Living Together in Islam,” said Nassuruddin in his speech.

Terengganu Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, representing the state government and all the people of Terengganu, prayed for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to be granted long life and a blessed reign.
