As the year-end approaches, many are likely planning vacations, either within the country or abroad. For those opting for a domestic getaway, the monsoon season doesn’t offer many options, especially on the East Coast.

If you’re heading to Penang for a stroll down the nasi kandar lane, why not make a detour to the Vision Park Recreation Park in Kepala Batas to experience the Luna Lights Wonderland 2023 Exhibition? This initiative, a collaboration between the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) and Red Bear Event, aims to enhance tourism in the state.

The exhibition, which started on October 27 and runs until November 26, operates from 7 p.m. to midnight daily. Visitors can witness a showcase of decorative lights themed around Animal Kingdom, Vision Ocean, Aquatic, Romance, LUNA Aerospace, Mystery Forest, Aurora Lights, and the Main Mascot Luna.

The display is created using a whopping 1,400,000 LED bulbs installed across the entire open or green space in Phase 1 of the 24-acre Vision Park Recreation Park.
Entrance fees are RM15 for adults and RM8 for children aged 12 and below, with a discounted ticket price of RM2 off the original rate given to the first 100 children each day throughout the exhibition period.

Additionally, organizers are providing free tickets to every elementary school student aged seven to 12 located within a 25-kilometer radius of the exhibition venue.
