Op Global: Victims separated as early as two years old, parents abroad – KPN
KUALA LUMPUR: Police investigations revealed that there are victims placed in trusted charity centers owned by Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding (GISB Holding) around Selangor and Negeri Sembilan who are the third or fourth generation who were separated from their families as early as two years old.
According to the Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, the police also found that most of the victims’ parents were abroad.
“From the information of the victims and arrests, they may be the third or fourth generation while their upbringing was only in the orphanage concerned.
“Based on intelligence, the police discovered that when they were two years old, these children would be separated from their families and placed in a charity home.
“There is also information that says the parents have been abroad like Saudi Arabia for six years but the child is here, the parents are in Turkey but the child is here,” he said at a press conference at the Police Training Center (Pulapol), in here on friday.
