Muslims in Malaysia celebrate Aidiladha on June 17

KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidiladha on June 17, according to Assistant Secretary of the Council of Rulers, Datuk Mohd Aseral Jusman.

Through the announcement broadcast by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) tonight, Mohd Aseral also declared 1 Zulhijjah 1445 Hijrah is tomorrow.

“In order to complete the order of His Majesty the King after being approved by His Majesty the Kings, I, on behalf of the Keeper of the Great Seal of the Kings of Malaysia, hereby declare that 1 Zulhijah 1445 Hijrah is on June 8, 2024 AD.

“Thus, Hari Raya Korban (10 Zulhijah) for states throughout Malaysia is on Monday, June 17, 2024 AD,” he said.
