MBSA denies offering real estate ads

SHAH ALAM: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) denied advertising offers regarding some real estate ads that went viral and were advertised online by irresponsible parties.
MBSA stated in a statement that it received complaints and inquiries from the public regarding the advertisements involved in the Facebook application that used the MBSA logo.
“MBSA would like to emphasize that MBSA is in no way involved in any real estate advertisement or house sale on the Facebook application that uses the MBSA logo.

“In addition, MBSA also has no connection with the Facebook account that uses the name of Shah Alam Municipal Council,” said the statement on Wednesday.

The local authority said MBSA’s official social media channels are Facebook (@shahalamcitycouncil), Instagram (@sacitycouncil), Twitter (@sacitycouncil) and Tiktok (@sacitycouncil).

Accordingly, MBSA advises the public to always be careful of misleading and false advertisements and to not use the PBT logo or name without permission on social media platforms.
