Malaysians in the UK are asked to stay away from the protest area
PUTRAJAYA: Malaysians residing or visiting the United Kingdom (UK) are advised to stay away from protest areas, always be vigilant and follow the latest developments and guidance given by local authorities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an urgent notice to Malaysians in the UK today following a series of ongoing protests in several areas of the UK, following the stabbing incident in Southport on 29 July.
“Malaysians who have not yet registered with the Malaysian High Commission in London are strongly encouraged to do so immediately to ensure they receive timely information and assistance,” according to the statement.
