Malaysia Airlines launched its inaugural flight to the city of Da Nang

DA NANG (Vietnam): Malaysia Airlines flight MH748, carrying 160 passengers from Kuala Lumpur, landed at Da Nang International Airport on Tuesday, marking its maiden flight on the Kuala Lumpur-DDa Nang route.

The new route, which operates with a frequency of seven flights a week, will increase the number of flights between Vietnam’s central city of Da Nang and the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur to 28 flights a week, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the municipality’s Tourism Department, said Malaysia is in the top 10 sources of international tourists to Da Nang.
He said last month, Da Nang city leaders made a working visit to Malaysia and met with Malaysia Airlines representatives to promote downtown tourism and the Kuala Lumpur-Da Nang route.

Vuong added that the city’s tourism industry will continue to coordinate with Malaysia Airlines to organize Famtrip, Presstrip, and KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) delegations to experience Da Nang tourism and support communication activities to promote the Vietnamese city center to Malaysian tourists.

According to the official, with its extensive flight network across Asia, Europe, and Oceania, covering nearly 1,000 destinations in more than 170 countries and regions, Malaysia Airlines is expected to serve as a bridge to help Da Nang expand its tourism market to attractive destinations around the world.
