Malaysian NGO INCOTT supports ‘Vadakkupatti Ramasamy’

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysian non-governmental organisation  Indian Coordination Think Tank (INCOTT) today gathered at Batu Caves to show support for the latest movie ‘Vadakkupatti Ramasamy’ screening starring actor Santhanam.

INCOTT President Francis Sebastian told Wilayah that it is INCOTT’s initiative to promote Indian movie production here in Malaysia.

He also hopes more initiatives will be done by INCOTT to promote local movie talents from Malaysia with knowledge transfer from the Indian entertainment industry.

Francis acknowledges local talents here in Malaysia can be given opportunities for movie distribution and acting opportunities in India, as a way to have entertainment goodwill and business opportunities.

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy is a Tamil movie directed by Karthik Yogi . The music was composed by Sean Roldan. The film was produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner People Media Factory.

Ramasamy, a selfish and money-minded protagonist, profits from the superstitions of his village by exploiting their beliefs in and around a temple. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when the temple, his primary source of income, is temporarily closed by law enforcement due to riots in the village.
