Allegations Against Selangor MB a Desperate Tactic by Certain Parties – Political Secretary
SHAH ALAM: Claims made against Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the alleged chief minister of Selangor, over the approval of land in Dengkil to his own company, are characterized as a parody that is not all that dissimilar from slanderous claims made during the previous State Elections.
According to Saifuddin Shafi Muhammad, the political secretary to the chief minister of Selangor, some parties are using this strategy, which has a clearly defined plot and script, to sow fear prior to the Kuala Kubu Baharu State Legislative Assembly By-Election.
“I have looked through the Facebook posts about the police report that Badrulhisham Shahrin, alias Chegu Bard, made, in which he claimed that Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari gave his firm permission to acquire land.
“His allegations are supposedly supported by documents showing that the Selangor State Government has granted 100.04 acres of land in Dengkil to Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd,” he said in a statement uploaded on Facebook today.
He mentioned that the Selangor Chief Minister’s Office is open and ready to fully cooperate with the authorities to clear Amirudin’s name regarding these allegations.
“With several identified inaccuracies and missteps through his previous posts, we respectfully invite him to join the group of individuals who will be sued, as is currently faced by a prominent figure in the northern region of the country due to factual inadequacies in launching cheap political attacks,” he said.
