Ahmad Zahid, Fadillah is saddened by the passing of the Mahkota assemblywoman, condolences to the family

KUALA LUMPUR: The two Deputy Prime Ministers expressed their grief and offered their condolences to the family of Mahkota State Assembly Member Datuk Sharifah Azizah Syed Zain who died today.
Through a post on his Facebook page, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi hoped that Sharifah Azizah’s family would persevere through her passing.

“Let us accompany the passing of the deceased on this beautiful Friday with a prayer that he may be placed among His pious servants and gain jannah,” said the UMNO President.

He also informed that he visited the UMNO Women’s Exco when Sharifah Azizah was undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital, Kluang, Johor this morning.

“How in prayer and groaning of my heart I hope that he recovers and can continue the struggle together. But Allah SWT loves him more,” he said.

Ahmad Zahid described the passing of Sharifah Azizah as the loss of a woman fighter who was very committed and loyal to the party and very concerned about the community.
Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof also expressed his sadness and sorrow at the news of the passing of the Crown Assemblyman and prayed that his soul be placed among the faithful and be pleased with Allah SWT.

“Condolences to all the members of the deceased’s family,” he said in a post on the Facebook page and also prayed that Sharifah Azizah’s family would be given patience to face the loss.

Sharifah Azizah, 63, died while receiving treatment at the Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital and the Kluang UMNO Women’s Leader was admitted to the hospital due to shortness of breath in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

In the 2022 State Election, Sharifah Azizah who is also the former Johor UMNO Women’s Leader won the Mahkota State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seat with a majority of 5,166 votes defeating Pakatan Harapan candidate Muhammad Taqiuddin Cheman, Mohamad Nor Lingan (Perikatan Nasional) and Mohamed Noor Suleiman (Warisan). .

Also expressing his condolences to Sharifah Azizah’s family was Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin who also prayed that they would be given the strength to face this difficult challenge.

“All his service and devotion to UMNO and the state of Johor will never be forgotten. On this occasion, let us all pray that the soul of Allahyarhamah may be blessed and be placed with those who believe,” he said.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek also prayed that Sharifah Azizah’s soul be blessed and placed among those who believe and do righteous deeds.

“May his family be given strength and perseverance in facing this moment full of trials,” he said.
