A homeless person throwing stones near the monorail station was remanded for 3 days
KUALA LUMPUR: A homeless man who was arrested after allegedly throwing stones at the Imbi Monorail Station here was remanded for three days for further investigation.
Acting Dang Wangi District Police Chief Superintendent Nuzulan Mohd Din said the suspect was remanded from Sunday until Tuesday.
“A comprehensive investigation is still underway, including the motive of the 55-year-old suspect for acting like this.
“Based on the initial examination, the suspect is a normal person but we will take him to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) for further examination,” he said here on Sunday.
Last Friday, a man is believed to have thrown stones in an incident near the Imbi Monorail Station near here.
The suspect’s actions, however, led to trouble when the suspect was later successfully arrested on Saturday.
